Hello all! Did you have a wonderful Memorial weekend?
I was busy painting and reupholstering my favorite chair. I bought this chair at a garage sale four years ago for $2.00 and it's been waiting for me to have the courage to do it myself.
Well, this weekend I finally did it! And I have to say, I'm kind of loving how it turned out!

GORGEOUS!!!! I love the fabric. Wish I could find a chair like that for $2! I have a set with arms that I'm about to do, but I paid $175 for both:(((
Awesome deal on the chair and a really lovely makeover. Especially for your first! Following you now! Hope you follow me too :).

I'm kind of loving how it turned out too!
Beautiful! Now, I want recover a chair I already paid to have upholstered. The fabric color is georgeous.
Also, your blog header is a showstopper.
What a pretty chair! Good inspiration. Thanks.
Gorgeous!! Love your fabric choice!
that fabric is fabulous!...you did a wonderful job of reupholstering that chair.
went back and looked again, and am so curious about the little wheels on the front legs!?
i've never seen a chair of that style on wheels, let alone on only rront wheels, how very odd, and charming.
Kimberly-
The chair did not have the original wheels on it when I bought it. I had to find them at a local antique store. I know it had wheels on it because it had tiny holes up in the legs and the front legs were shorter than the back...very unique!
And you're right they are charming!
Lovely transformation - truly beautiful! Do you remember what fabric you used? I'd love to do a chair like that!
Linda
Linda,
It is a Waverly fabric. It's called Fun Floret in the color Spa. I bought it at Joann's. Cheers!
