A wedding...
My brother and his new wife (she is so lovely) were just married in October. It was a beautiful wedding and I had the privilege of being their photographer. I had never done a wedding before so I was REALLY nervous. My brother, Ridge (who is a pro photographer) helped me out so much and even let me use his camera! Thanks Ridge!
They seem to be happy with how they turned out.
They wanted an artistic/vintage, less formal "feel" to their pictures.
Here are a few of my favorites...

And so begins the Christmas season...
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, not only for the same reason it's every one else's favorite, but also because it is the season my husband and I celebrate our marriage! Every year it's like celebrating our anniversary all month long and everyone is joining in the fun. Christmas shopping becomes wonderful excuses for dates and our anniversary being so close to Christmas is a wonderful excuse for my Hubby to take the whole week of Christmas off from work! We were told by more than one person that we may regret getting married at Christmas time, because it would be hard to not let it get pushed aside in the Holiday rush. But we've found that rather than try and separate them we just roll them into one glorious party and holly, jolly all month long! Having said all of that though, we owe a great big thanks to all of those people who helped us get married (Dec. 22, 2002) and put their Christmas on the back burner that year so we could have our wedding...Thank you with all my heart, we love you!!!
Let the celebrations began...Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Christmas Ornament
I love this Christmas ornament from Martha Stewart.
I think I'll try and make a few for my two tall dinning room windows.
Here is a link for a video and instructions on how to make them.
